North Dock
An attractive waterfront site ideal for work, rest and play.

This eighteen acre site is at the heart of the Millennium Coastal Park and overlooks Carmarthen Bay and the rejuvinated dock. It therefore offers a unique waterside setting that’s sure to provide an appealing environment for a variety of uses.

The prime waterfront development opportunities include commercial office space that will urbanise the dock edge and form a business district that links into the town centre.

At the head of the dock the site is suitable for commercial uses such as a café bar, restaurant and a landmark hotel. These will create a lively visual focus from the bridge accessing the dock.

At one end, there is the superb Nicklaus designed championship golf course. But that’s not all. They’ve also successfully taken 22 kms of the local coastline and transformed it into the stunning Millennium Coastal Park - more than 1500 acres has been given a spectacular face lift and reborn as a unique linear park featuring a stunning array of visitor attractions that include Pembrey Country Park, the National Wetlands Centre, an assortment of wildlife havens, an angling centre, a seafront promenade and a picturesque harbour.

These dramatic improvements have started to change the whole way the area is perceived - confidence is coming back to the community and land values have soared. The best is yet to come. Llanelli Waterside will draw together all these different elements and complete the spectacular transformation that is already well under way.

The site covers a total of 100 acres and includes enough space for at least 1000 homes, 500,000 sq feet of business and office space and
25,000 sq metres of commercial leisure developments. It is split into 5 distinct and different development areas, each with its own individual identity and characteristics.
