Llanelli Waterside enjoys an ideal location with a number of prime attractions close by.  These include the Jack Nicklaus designed Golf Course and Country Club at Machynys; a state-of-the-art rugby stadium for the world famous Scarlets; Pembrey Country Park and the seven-mile-long award winning Cefn Sidan beach; and Ffos Las Racecourse which opened this year and attracting visitors in their droves.  The course - the first one to open in the UK for almost 80 years - has been widely praised by the racing fraternity and will stage around 20 race days next year.

Close by, Parc Trostre and Parc Pemberton are firmly established as prime shopping destinations visited by people from across South Wales, and plans are progressing for a multi-million-pound retail and leisure development in Llanelli town centre as well as a £14 million theatre and arts complex.
